Sorry if this has been covered already, Before xmas, I got freesta installed with an old sky box. Just now, its coming up "No satellite signal being recieved" on all channels. Signal test on the sky menu shows nothing.

I tried rining the installer, number seems cut off. Is there anything I can do myself to get this back working. I went out with torch to check dish, it appears normal and in position etc, I also checked cable into back of box and tried power off/on etc.

Many thanks for any help, I live alone and rely on TV heavily for sanity

    woah

Just went outside again and noticed the LNB was not straight, I turned it about 3-4 degrees in its holder and the system is now working fine. Mother of god

Saved yourself a few bob there :). Amazing how many people don't bother at all and have engineers running all over the place for simple little things like that and costing themselves money.

don't forget to tighten the screw on the holder. stop it happening again.

Hi, I have an old sky box attached to a line from my quad LNB and got it forking for FTA no problem initially. In past week however whenever I turn it on it says no signal being received. when I unscrew the cable from wall and reattach it and turn it on again it finds it ok, but this is a pain each time I want to use it. Any Ideas?
