Couple of q's for the non-spas.

    1. Someone mentioned 2 different kinds of WE mags for GBB. I'm assuming either will fit in a 416, because it has a shallower magwell than an m4. True?

    2. Where's a good place to get an NPAS system for the WE 416? Is it the same one as the M4?

    3. What other upgrades are recommended for going to CO2 mags?

    Cheers :-)

from experience the we m4 and the we scar magazines have slightly different nozzle heights, when i used an m4 magazine in my scar i got a large amount of venting lower gas efficency and lacklustre blowback, after some research i tracked the problem down to the magazine top hight

the only way to tell them apart really is colour as there labelled normal the same on shops, stick with the black co2 magazines and you will be fine

from what I've seen the hk416 is the same internals as the we m4/16 so all parts should be compatible so anything down for the we m4 is fine, you have two options for npas

tsc - i went with tsc for my scar got the parts from airsoft global

If you decide to go with Ra-Tech upgrades I'd recommend buying directly from Ra-Tech. I ordered an NPAS kit and firing pin set for just $10 airmail which I had in a week.

Don't bother using their online shop as Ireland is not listed, just e-mail them and they'll let you know how much shipping will be within a few hours.

They are also selling the CO2 mags with very reasonable shipping, $10 for 1, $12 for 2 & $14 for 3 etc.

I'm seeing a version 1 and 2 NPAS there for M4. Much difference?

Don't know I'm afraid but if you drop them an e-mail I'm sure they'll explain - they are very helpful.

from my understanding and looking at the pictures v1 is for normal gas and v2 is for co2, if you have a look at the pictures you can see the v2 has the beefed up head for better seals

as g-spec said, order direct from ra tech, there great to deal with and shipping is ems from Taiwan so nice and cheap for small parts

Compared to their WA type NPAS, those WE ones are a pain in the face aren't they., not nearly as easy to adjust as the old WA ones.,

Ya should be able to runt that on Co2 straight out of the box too dave (with npas of course), moggy got the Co2 mag for his Scar there recently and it made a nice healthy improvment to the recoil, although the gun had some build quality issues to get sorted before it was perfect.,
