    Meh, went off Gervais a long time ago. His writing is fine, hate seeing his face though.

    the problem is where does Brent end and Gervais begin?

    Will it be Gervais doing the cameo, or Brent? will anyone know the difference?

    Gervais would be great..

    .. if anything, he'd improve (albeit temporarily) how mediocre that show has been as of late.

    Em, no, you see my point is this.
    UK Office = Genius
    US Office = Muck.
    Both have Office in the title but they are two different universes.
    The US made their own ,because they did not trust their own people to understand the UK version. Now Gervais is either 1/mocking this difference (good) or 2/doesn't care anymore (bad/money-grabbing madness)
    Could be 1/ though.:rolleyes:

    If he wasnt suitable to play the role of the David Brent character in the US version, I dont understand what he will bring to it. They just wont get him.

    I liked his stand-up shows the first time I saw each, and Extras is one of my favorite shows, but I just can't stand him anymore.
