Within the last 14 days I sent respectively UPC and SKY's CS mails requesting some info/change of subscription.

UPC answered by phone after a couple of days but didn't really say anything
SKY answered by mail within 20 min and sorted my query

    SKY 1
    UPC 0

Did they not even say hello? Did you not ask them your question again?

Seriously though, this thread is pointless. If you have a specific question for customer services you are usually better off calling them and working through it.

I have called both Sky and NTL customer services this week, and both dealt with my query straight away. I declare it a draw. THE END.

You have no idea what the mails were about so no this tread is far from pointless. If it is so pointless why waste your precious time and even bother to reply to it?

True we don't. But that was your fault, for choosing not to specify - its true we cant dissent regarding who was better, since we don't know what you asked. But if we can't dissent, we can't agree either.

And the thread isn't pointless, but doesn't say much that isn't already known. We all know that UPC's CS could be better. And most people agree, it is getting better, slowly but surely. I find it depends on who handles your call/mail.
