Look the same allright. Its possible the one on the batterycity site is a genuine HP battery and the one on laptopsparesdirect is not.

Not a chance that's a genuine HP battery, however that's not to say it won't work perfectly fine. I have a cheap eBay battery in my laptop going on 3 years now, still works perfectly.

I tried getting a replacement power supply off these guys today. Looked on the site and saw they were between €15 and €25. Called the 1890 number on the site and was told it was out of service. After searching found another number and called it. Now this was for a friend who needed a power supply ASAP as she had to finish a article by friday. I called her and got the make and model of her Dell laptop. Called the shop and got a foriegn guy who asked for the PA number. Called back with that and was told they didn't have any at the shop but they did have them in storage and I could either collect it at 5pm today or tomorrow. I arranged to go at 5pm as friend needed it.

Found the shop and went in and asked about the power supply, he said it was being delivered and would be there in about 20mins. We went back to the car and called my friend and explained. If I remember he said it would be either €14 or €40 on the phone when I called, I couldn't understand him very well. Anyway before we went back to the shop we went into another shop on the off chance they had them cheaper. It was called Polas computers or something? They had a genuine Dell power supply for €40 so we said we might be back.

Went to shop and was closed, but the open sign was showing. We rang the doorbell and was told by foriegn guy the other guy had gone to collect it and would be another 20mins. So we hung around outside the shop waiting for him. After about 30mins we saw someone ring the bell and the foriegn guy came to talk to him. We asked about the power supply and he said it would be here in...guess what?...20mins! Apparently the other bloke had to go to Blanchardstown to get it. Now this was about 5:45/6:00pm, how long would it take to get to Blanch and back to the shop at that time?

We told him to forget it and went to the other shop!
