and all over the place, but no blood,
or pink staining, she's turned two
three week's ago, I think she will be ready

I work with sheep dogs, I am assuming that the in heat cycle is similar. From the first time you notice blood the bitch will be 10 days before she is on. She will then stand for 10 days. If she is swollen she must be very near on. Do not let her of the lead. She will go looking for a dog. Try her with a neighbours dog to see if she will stand. Needless to say don't let him mount her.

all dogs are different and as far as i know breed don't make a difference. general rule is 12 days after first blood and again 2 days later
