is it too late to get one of those lockers to store your books in and also would it be dodge to leave your laptop in it?

Don't think so - it just means getting slightly less value for what you pay for it! See here. Reserve it online and pick up the key when you go to pay for it.

I wouldn't leave a laptop in them unless you have an unusual lock. Most people have those tri-circle locks and there's only about 15 different keys!
