Youtube makes me lose faith!

Ok firstly I actually love youtube and use it more than any site ever but why are so many of the people who comment on youtube retards?? I mean no matter what I am looking at there is sick people who will argue their racist, or religious ****ed up philosophies on the page. I used to find it funny how sad people were to get in stupid fights on youtube over videos that have no relevance to what they are even arguing about but lately it just annoys me. I know I shouldn't read the comments if they annoy me but sometimes there can be very interesting info about the video topic.

Are all these people "trolls" or just 13 year old American kids in their bedrooms who think it is funny to voice racist opinions etc.? Obviously the world is full of stupid ignorant people but what the hell is it about youtube that attracts them all to voice their srewed up opinions? If you haven't noticed this just search 'Haiti Earthquake' and read some of the comments from people, its sick. Maybe I am just not with the times and these are all obviously trolls.

P.s, by 'lose faith', I don't mean in any religious way.

tbh when it comes to sites like that or IMDb etc that kind of crap is epidemic. It seems to me that if you spend a lot of times on those sites you end up either hating minorities or hating everyone equally. Or so the frequenters of those boards would have me believe by their behaviour.

Youtube is not really the troll paradise some people think it is. No-one goes on youtube specifically to troll. It is a place you go to watch videos with the cool option of doing some trolling while you're at it.

Along with omegle and yahoo answers it forms a continuum of mindless half-interested trolling. The sort of hit-and miss stuff you wouldn't even bother posting on 4chan.
