    was it just me or was anyone else treating the cold snap as z-week??:cool:

    it was pretty good practise! roads were unuseable, the country was on its knees! water was gone and more stuff!!!!:P

    perasonally i thought it was a great practise run!!! :D:D

    It was indeed and while our government was completely useless in the crisis the ordinary people of Ireland really pulled together and showed me that if the worst ever does happen we'll face it together and beat it.
    In my area local farmers took it upon themselves to salt and grit roads, when peoples water went neighbours went out of their way to get them everything they needed to ensure they had enough water.

    It's a real shame this country doesn't live up to it's potential, but I know the skill and comradely is there it's just untapped.

    Dunno, I think their laconic Shuffling would give them the advantage over us, the trick to not fallin over on ice (as far as I recall, we dont get much in the tropics) is to keep your feet slow and steady.
