New Humax PVR's (Coming Autumn 2010)

    Humax outlines next gen Freesat HD receivers.

    The Foxsat HD2 will have single tuner PVR recording via USB and automatic retuning. It can play MP3, JPEG and XviD files from USB drives and will support media streaming over a home network.
    The Foxsat-HDR2 Freesat+ PVR is the successor to the current Foxsat-HDR PVR and will have the same feature set as the HD2 excluding USB recording. It will have twin tuners and a 500GB drive.

    Both receivers are expected to appear in autumn 2010.

    Humax also announced intentions to futher develop the online networkng capabilities of its boxes to allow receivers to share content over a home network.
    All receivers were described as 'portal ready' making them suitable for adding Flickr, YouTube, HD video on demand and other similar services in future.
    Hopefully some more details soon on the content sharing between recievers, seems like a really cool idea.
