    Hello,

    I inquired about some goods on alibaba.com, and asked if they would accept paypal.

    They said they can't accept paypal, but that I can pay via "Alipay" (alibaba's version of paypal apparently)

    Has anyone used Alipay before? Any comments? As good as paypal?

    Well I'd prefer Paypal. I set up several accounts with Alipay and they kept closing the account without contacting me. Then I emailed them and they said I needed to send in proof of address / identity. Found another supplier by that stage :)

    I would be a little wary of it, its still prity new and their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
    It is a good feature but they need to work on it.
