Problem with Wireless Internet

    Hi all

Probably not going to do a good job of explaining this but i'll give it a go.
I recently changed my broadband provider and had always had wireless broadband that worked no problem. My new broadband will only work if I use a cable and wont work wirelss. The technician that came out said that there was a problem with the wireless software on my laptop.

Would anybody know how I could check this out myself? I am tech savvy enough, if you give me instructions I can follow them. I cant be dealing with this cable nonsense!

    Thanks

What laptop is it? is it connected to the wireless router? What OS is it?
