Just booked flights dublin to vegas(via direct from london) with BA on cheaptickets.com for 465e July 2nd to July 10th. Lots of dates available at the moment for may june and july

Havent got accomoadtion yet but excalibur is around 330 for a room for the 9nights, all in 9nights is roughly 630e which is pretty good for vegas that time of year for 9days. I had seen a deal for planet hollywood hotel that was 550 for the same time but has since expired. Will wait untill closer to the the time as there will be great prices on hotels(if last year is anything to go by!)

Stay in Planet Hollywood....all the lady dealers wear lingerie and they give you a free 1L bottle of vodka/whiskey/rum whatever per room per night you stay...I'm there in Feb for €200 for 4 nights

It's on my itinerary as per night so I'll argue for it...booked awhile ago so maybe it's changed for new bookings..

What site you book that on?

i used http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com/ last year and got an unreal deal(twice inc lots of extras) but they dont update the special offers until closer to the time so theres nothing on it at the moment for when im going!

Not really sure that €460 return is much of a bargain. This price seems to apply to most of the states for june/july/sept.

I booked through a travel agent..they were cheaper than any of the internet sites for the dates I was looking for...they also let me pay it off bit by bit...heading over to watch the 7's rugby in Feb

its a great price for vegas for that time, ive been watching the prices for flights for that time for the past 2/3 months as its only time i can go and that same flight was around 750e until last week(cheapest on ebookers is currently 670), myself and friends go vegas around that time every year and its rarely if ever under 500e unless you have flexible dates(i got it less last year but had to go for nearly three weeks on awkward dates with several stops and i was lucky with price!)

    I don't think it's a bargain alert.
Looks like normal pricing to me

Don't forget the daily hotel charge of 12.95 which came into effect 12/12/2009 This is paid upon leaving the hotel

july to the states is always expensive as the schools are out

its not an 'aer lingus balls up' kind of bargain but its still pretty good price for a direct flight from LHR to vegas.

I'm a firm believer in package deals when dealing with holidays in the US - sites like AmericanHolidays.com and TourAmerica.ie.

Got return flights and 10 nights in the Hilton Hotel in Miami in June for less than €750.

As an aside, Vegas was ruined for me when I spent a long-weekend there as a youngster.. they had their worst rainfall in something like 20 years. Sewers over-flowed and everything. Now I think of Vegas and all I can think of is the smell of sh*t in the streets when I was there!

    EDIT: Twas 1999:
    # Flash Floods hit Las Vegas in the worst flooding in 15 years, triggered by an unexpected storm which dumped four to six inches of rain an hour on the city, per Discovery Online on July 9, 1999. The floodwaters swamped the floors of buildings, including the Las Vegas Convention Center. Las Vegas usually receives only 4.1 inches (104 mm) of rainfall annually.

Ill second these, booked with them last year and they beat everyone by €200. Booked for this year with them too and beat the nearest by €180pp going to Orlando. That will pay for my theme parks. They are brilliant for heading to the US.

That is very good price. I went to Phionix AZ in october and the flights were 730. I got cheap accomadation in the strathaphoere it was like 3 nights for 100 dollars for 3 people. But that was october, off season and all that.....
