Sky+ upgrade to Sky+HD

    I'm a current Sky+ subscriber, I am due to get Sky+HD installed this saturday, i received the letter from Sky confirming the order and details of the upgrade

    I have not received any new sky hd viewing card

    When i initially ordered the upgrade i was told i would also get a new sky card to allow viewing of the HD channels

    Can anyone tell me if this is not true and i simply use my existing Sky+ card to be paired with the new HD box and every will be hunky dory?

    As id be a little annoyed if i had HD installed but couldnt watch a thing due to an incompatability of the card having not received a hd viewing card :eek:

    You didn't say if it was a direct swap out or upgrade to Multiroom?

    If a swap out, your existing card is used and upgraded and re-paired on install. There is no such thing as a hd card, the new facilities are just added to your old card.

    If upgrading to Multiroom, you need a second card.

    Hey BArra, if you don't mind me asking.
    How much did the upgrade cost you form Sky+ to HD, they can hardly charge much for installation considering all they do is swap some cables.
