What Aerial do I need?

Having just installed a FTA receiver, I also need an Aerial for RTE/TV3/TG4.

So do I need a digital aerial? and if so, how does it plug into the back the TV? or do I just need a UHF/VHF aerial for the local Irish TV stations?

    Thanks in advance.

There is no such thing as a digital aerial. An aerial does not care whether it is receiving analogue, digital, radio, or data.

Is your FTA receiver satellite or DTT. If satellite you will need a standard UHF/VHF aerial into your TV. If DTT the same aerial goes to your DTT box and then you need a loop out cable to your TV.
