    has anyone done the mechanics course in palaskenry ? how did u find doing it ? thinking of doing it mabey in sept

    none of my lads done it, but i know 2 neighbours sons who are currently enrolled


    If I am thinking of the same course you must also enrol at LIT for some of the course which means you will have to pay 2 sets of college fees,

    also involves work experience either in Ireland or overseas, know one lad went to USA and didn't like it, long hours poor grub, small pay and very hot.

    If this is the same course, my son is friendly with these lads and can find more info if you wish.

    yea thats the one i have done the leaveing cert in summer 08 cant get apprentichip anywahere do do mechanics .no jobs anywhere .so whats the other options ,i was thinking doing this course .i taught the placement in the usa would be good experience .who did he do his placement wit in usa?anyinfo u can find out would be good .pm me if u wish .
