Enabling USB/blutooth tethering

Does anyone know how to do this on a jailbroken 3.1.2 iPhone 3gs? The Internet tethering option disappeared from the menu and my laptop won't connect to the iPhone via blutooth. Tried USB too but it still wasn't recognised in network settings. Mywi from cydia doesn't work for me either.
