Got a cracking good golf bet so thats why I joined up - to give you back something to the forum which has given me so much. I read the pricewise thread usually, but I dont see why everyone should not benefit.

Get onto betfair now, NOW!, and back

Webb Simpson at 160s to win the Sony golf. I can assure you that you will be able to trade him around 100s before the event starts on Thursday. This is an exceptional bet, and like I say I wanted to give you ll something back because of your hard work. I hope this is it.

    i don't think he'll trade that low surely,he hasn't showed a lot,very inconsistant,i'll leave him out as i just back in the bookies,no betfair

I backed Chad Campbell and Tim Clark, was going to do Toms but decided not to
Also backed Anders in SA and e/w doubles with the 2 goons above ,best of luck

In case you think i'm mad i always do an e/w double as i've been very lucky over the years
Sry for the waffle but i have to tell you the best was a €5 e/w double on S.Cink22/1(Verizon Heritage) and C.Kerr16/1(lpga enent?),it was a good few years ago,the mad thingabout it was Kerr won on the Saturday in a 5 hole p/off and Cink won on the Sunday in i think a 4 hole p/off
    Netted me nearly 2 grand

It amazes me when people do this bet. If both players win you get the place money, if one wins and places you get the place money, if one wins and other unplaces you win 0. Surely just do €10 win double to make far greater profit in the long term, you would have won nearly double your amount on this occasion.

You wouldn't get 20 other place bets up to cover that extra potential winnings.

I suppose it depends on your outlook, for me I look to gain the most I possible can get out of a bet when placing it for the amount I deem worthwhile, rather than play safe and end up losing your place and win money pretty much most of the time on e/w bets. It's cool for horses but with horses you need to cut your stake so if you were having €20 wins, you should be placing €7.50 e/w, that's how I approach things anyway.

Not knocking you mate, just some friendly opinion, but you should be looking to extract the max possible when placing your bets.

Perhaps we'll start a thread next week and give it a bash with €5 each week see can anyone net the big pay day :)

can't disagree with your point, lately i don't have a lot of disposable so it's just a few fun bets with a few quid
