Well it was "exactly the same the last 3 years. Last year it was the same colour as always but it was of "technical material" rather than the usual cotton.

But I agree the one you posted regarding "going to hit the wall" is a bit lame

This sucker. I like the Conn stuff and the fact it is a distinctive royal blue, year on year. Good branding imo. You're free not to buy the motivational T-shirt but I guess many do.

I wouldn't buy one, but also am happy to receive one at the end of the race, and also like the branding etc. Having run a few international races, it's was great to see a few of the Connemara T-shirts, and identify your fellow country-men. Looking forward to my fourth T-shirt this year, to complete the set of distances in the connemarathon.

Ultras got the long sleeve top and not technical shirt that the half and full got last year. Am I the only person who doesn't like all these technical shirts that the races give out now?
I much prefer the old cotton t-shirts. I have enough racing gear without a tonne of technical shirts.

Sure a full is only twice a half. Now an Ultra.. That's three times a half.

I've my fingers crossed for a short sleeve technical t-shirt for the ultra this year. *hint hint*

Yep! I think you're the only one! I hate my long sleeve cotton Conn ultra t-shirt. The short sleeve technical t-shirt was great. One of my friends gave me theirs!

I'm really not interested in getting a cotton t-shirt and would prefer the race to be a couple of euro cheaper. That said, when you first start doing races it's great to get a cotton t-shirt as a souvenir.

Sure an ultra is only 50% more than a full and they get a different shirt.
A full is 100% more than a half..

The t-shirt may be the same, but the memories will be different.
And if you desperately want a different shirt, run the ultra :p

I hope to have both t-shirts by April 12th. You've got to have a dream!
