I completed a course in 2008, since then I have had no luck getting a job in that area, but to be honest I'm not sure I want one, I wasn't very good at it, alot of computers and I have always been more of a hands on person. I am considering doing a more arty course its two years so not a B.A. or anything. I am 25 and I'm a little apprehensive.

Should I just be focusing on making a career from what I have... or is it worth the risk going off and learning new skills.

Has anyone else done this? am I being silly ?!

If there are no jobs it's always an option to stay in college, because you might as well enjoy your life while you're still young and it may help you in your chosen career.

Not sure the benefit of doing an "arty" course if you consider yourself to be hands-on. In fact, there's nothing like practical experience if you want to make yourself attractive to a potential employer.

If you can get a job in computers I recommend you do the "arty" course part-time in the evenings because then you prove to potential employers that you can work, and have interests and ambitions outside work.
