Gamestop Trade in a a game get a new select game for E2/5

i was in gamestop today to trade in two crapy games (surfs up and wall-e)

and i spotted that they are doing the trade in a game get a select game for either E2 or E5


i had a look at some of the games that were in the offer

and they had some good ones

i got

Star wars the force unleashed for E5 (retail 24.99)

and

Halo wars for 5E (retail 44.99)


they also had ufc 2009 for E5

and

guitar hero areosmith for E2

that's all i can remember. they had a good few

They all have em afaik, but the list of games you can trade in are relatively new.. Hope
F1 2009 is on that, played the hell out of it already...

Note that you can only trade in games from February 2009 onwards in this deal, and it's in every store, but avoid henry street, all their good games are taken =/

Are you sure about this the OP said he traded in Wall-E which was out in 2008

Saw this deal too. They won't accept any sports year games e.g Fifa 2009 etc.

Hm i could be wrong but i think thats the way the deal works, 2009 games onwards i mean. Could've sworn it states that on the sticker.

Or could've been the sports titles not too sure now.

yes its on sports titles. I traded in dead spade and i think thats late 2008 game and I got velvet assasin for a fiver i Blanch store. They had universe at war for 2 yoyos, gears of war 2 for 5 and ninja gadin 2 for a fiver also.

if fallout is one of the accepted games and Fallout:GOTY is one of the games in the offer then yes

I haven't seen Fallout GOTY in any stores,not sure it is in the deal.

i know what the offer says but I couldn't find any ps3 games I wanted in
stephens green. Surely ps3/360 are worth similar monetart amounts?

thanks for the heads up op. Im just back from gamestop myself and traded in gears of war 1 and need for speed pro street and got h.a.w.x and ufc 2009 in exchange. so i dont think it matters how old the games are. thanks again

Just picked up aerosmith guitar hero for 2 quid. Traded in eternal sonata which I bought for 4e anyway . Only a handful of songs I like but for that cheap you cannot go wrong.

They had fifa 09 for 3.99 on the PS3 in GAME and that can be used in the deal
I picked up Resistance 2 and Motorstorm Pacifc for 8.99 each .

the games in this offer are terrible was in both henry street and clare hall a week ago and the only games left were animal crossing, singstar queen etc. Would have liked motorstorm 2 or halo wars but no such luck.
