I'd watch out on the g&g's with a tightbore... bad combination from what i've seen.

A good all rounder is the bioval series of bio bb. I've used them for years, and swear by them. Infact I use them at sites that dont require a bio bb. They just work.

I use bioval .25g and have done for the last two years on everything from AEGs (inokatsu, CA. VFC, Ares, Viva Arms to name but a few in a diverse list) to GBB pistols, GBB rifles, and bolt action rifles.

I used Bioval once and absolutely loved them. Only reason I don't use them anymore is I can't find anywhere that sells them.

SE-Airsoft are an affiliate of begadi, who stock them (and will tell you to contact their affiliate store in Ireland; i.e. SEA).

Edit: Neglected to mention that eirsoft sometimes have bioval in stock as well in; although I think more likely to have .20g than .25g in stock if they do.

    G&G for me,

Defo not excel though, ive seen them crush and powder up.,

Bioval for me have been hit and miss, there a lot less shiney than others and it can be a problem in double stack mags.,

    Agree, Excel are... crap.

Biovals however, never had a misfeed in any mag, single or double stack, pistol or aeg. What were they in masada? Pistol mag?

Never had an issue with them in either single or double-stack GBB mags. I've had issues with mags, but never the BBs. Your mileage may and/or does vary of course.

Funnily enough, I've never had a negative experience with EXcels. Now, before FireKitten and Masada lynch me; allow me to elaborate. I've not used them extensively enough to have had a bad problem. I was using .25g BIO-X which are very difficult to get these days if at all.

Biovals - truely degradable? Do they come with an certificate of proof or anything?

Honestly never looked. But as one of the widest used, and oldest bio brands, i'd think so. Most bio only sites recomend them, and very popular in europe.

Well, they're the only BB that's been approved by the US Forestry & parks commission (or whatever its' full title is). I doubt any BB is as biodegradable as claimed, but with a heavyweight endorsement from an agency who take their environment seriously I'd take that with a bit more weight than your average PR/marketing blurb about how awesome BB 'x' has been in a lab environment (which they typically then fail to mention has been its only environmental trial)

Depends on what you're using them in.

Look at the tolerance: +/- .03

Look at the tolerance of the more expensive G&G Bio's: +/- .01

You get what you pay for.
If you get a jam and strip a piston or gears - you'll pay even more.

    Get the G&G bio's imo.
