Just wondering has anyone bought this and what are your opinions? I'm getting pretty fed up with the O2.ie interface and I'd be happy to buy this app if it's not in any way buggy or anything.

I have it and I'm pretty happy with it - I'm with Vodafone and their site is also slow, annoying and overall craptacular. Eirtext sits in the menu bar or dock and is easy to access, plugs into Address Book (which is great as I don't have my contacts listed on Vodafone's site, which means I always have to enter numbers) and just works. It can be slow to send some times, but that's down to Vodafone's site, not the app. Overall, I'd recommend it, especially for the low price - I've been using my webtexts a lot more since I got it.

Thanks, that Address Book sync is the game-breaker for me, I know you can save contacts on O2.ie but it always seemed a lot of hassle. Going to give it a go now, thanks again for the review.

Edit: Can you remember how long it took to get the license key? I bought it via PayPal 10 minutes ago and haven't received anything yet.

Same for me, I didn't want to go through the hassle of adding all my contacts on Vodafone's site and I don't even trust their site with all that info anyway... The Address Book sync in Eirtext is the best feature. And to add to the original question, it's perfectly stable, I haven't had it crashing/locking up or anything so far...

A bit late now, but mine wasn't instant - I think it may have taken 20-30 minutes but came through fine. If you haven't got it yet, you could always contact the developer, he's a boardsie as well, I believe his user name is lackofcolour.

Well it's been over 24 hours now and still no license key so something must've gone wrong. I PM'ed him last night and haven't got a reply since.

Ok, it was nowhere near that long so yeah, getting onto him is probably the way to go - hope you get sorted soon!
