It sure is Donita Sparks. They were a savage band,didn't give a ****e what anyone thought of them. They had a competition years ago where the prize was a ride off Dee Plakas!!:D

It was indeed, about a week or two before the gig at the Point if I remember.

Yeah it was about a week before the Dublin gig. Most of the crowd were yelling at them "Drop your kaks"!:D:D

They kept winding us up,"It's the land of U2 so we'll play a U2 song".cue an L7 song. "We're in the land of Sinead O'Conner so we'll play a Sinead O'Conner song",cue another L7 tune. Great craic!:D

If so saw them supported by the elite in jj smyths i think many years ago!
We went over for the laugh after a marshall demo in musicmaker.
After 10 minutes of her gig 50% of the 40 or so people there were shouting bring back the elite!!
They were ****e in fairness and yer one's attitude was dire!

+ one on Doro, warlock were supposed to support some one or other back in the late 80's but we got a fairly dire local band instead :mad:
And me with raging speedhorn for the Pesch!:P
