    Hi guys

Basically, I was just wondering if anyone can recommend any good counselling services in Dublin that aren't going to cost me an arm and a leg.

I'm bi-polar, currently unmedicated, and I'd like to see if this option works (as I cannot open up to those close to me) before taking the medication route.

    Many thanks

They're very good - I have done some of their training courses.

@OP - If you have been medically diagnosed as bipolar, you really need to consider the medical advice of a professional psychiatrist. Counselling alone is probably not sufficient to manage this condition.

If you have not been professionally diagnosed, but suspect you might have a bipolar disorder, then I strongly suggest you consult with a medical professional first.

    Thanks for the link.

I was diagnosed a few years ago after a manic episode, but the specialist was reluctant to put me on medication at the time.
