Ballycotton alternatives

Hello, we are a group from Spain and had planned to run the ballycotton, we are just amateurs and would like to do this type of run in Ireland. I noticvled that the ballycotton entry list is closed, does anoyone know of a similar type of event that we could sign upto around the same time of the year? Cheers Colm

There's a list of long (>10 miles) races in Ireland here:

Looks like there's a 10mile race in Bantry in west Cork in February, and a 10 miler in Galway in March. There's 2 half-marathons in Northern Ireland in March as well.
