getting letter off ncts for nct.?

    my cars nct was out on the 7-11-09 and i want to redo test but i nver have recieved a letter from them or anything how do i book it and i did try ncts.ie no good. ....

    keep trying the website or ring them. They don't send out letters anymore. up to you to look at the disc for the expiry.

    wel i did buy car after it was out so.. not much i can do.. idk wat ta do i e-mailed them and still no reply

    I just tried the booking website and it seems to be working ok.
    https://ncts.ie/bookings/managebooking.aspx

    Enter your car's reg number,
    then make sure to change "Yes, I have a Booking ID" to "No, I have a Registration Date",
    then enter the date in the format dd/mm/yyyy.

    I got the date from the "Registration Certificate" for my car.
    Note that is Item (I) "Date of Registration in Irl." that you need to use
    and NOT Item (B1) "Date of First Licensing in IRL".

    The vehicle documents have changed from time to time over the years
    so, depending on the year of your car, you may have a different document, but you should be able to get the date from it anyway.

    If it still doesn't work, you can telephone them on 1890 412413
    from 8am to 8pm Mon-Thu and from 8am to 6pm Fri.

    By the way, I notice that that the Bookings Information page on the website mentions the Booking Letter four times even though they haven't sent them out for years.
