    Hi guys,

When driving down a hill today my car (02 almera saloon 1.5) lost traction and started to slide on the ice. I could not stop it and ended it hitting the front drivers side wheel pretty hard flush up against the curb.

Now to have car go in staight line I have to hold steering wheel off centre and fight it from pulling towards side that I hit wheel on. What do you guys think the most likely problem is. And how much do you think it would be likely to cost to get fixed

could be ANYTHING!! Wishbone, steering arm, steering box, loads of things.

Advice would be to ground the car, DON'T DRIVE IT!!!!!! get a mechanic out to look at it.

depends what it is. Could be €100, could be a write-off.

Your probably lucky and its just a wish bone, fairly easy to fix and not too hard on the pocket too...maybe 100, might have to be tracked afterwards.

It could be a track rod also. I dont know how much that costs but it should be cheaper than a wishbone etc.
