My da's remote stopped working today. Not a peep out of it; no red light, nothing. Changed batteries but still no joy.

Will he have to change it or can anything be done? If it has to be changed, will they do it change it free of charge (I can hear you all laughing now, but a lad can hope :D)

    Cheers for the replies.

How old is the remote, it may be under the 12 month warranty by Sky. Also is it a Sky or a Sky+ or a Sky+ HD remote.

I know of a case where a persons sky remote was not covered under the 12 months warranty. I forget if the person got Skyfrom Sky Directly or signed up with an sales rep.

Thanks for the replies lads. He's fairly sure that its not older than 12 moths, as we changed from normal sky to sky+ last year and got a new remote for it. Think he's getting on to sky today so will let you know the outcome.

If it's not covered, they are widely available and not that expensive.
