Anyone out there have eagle F1 tires on their cars?

I have a rear wheel drive car with the F1's and was wondering why i couldnt drive up even the slightest inclines. Just read reviews on this tire and they say they should NEVER be used in the snow. So for any of ye with these tires be warned, although you probably know at this stage:D

A rear wheel drive with any kind of summer tyres will struggle regardless of brand

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

I have them all round on the Rover 75 1.8 (FWD). I went out most days during the snow / ice and I had no difficulties, but grip was not great and I sure did not go near any steep inclines!

I was shocked at how badly the tires performed in the snow. Thankfully i have the eagle F1 asymmetrical on the front wheels, Might end up swapping the rears to the fronts to get the engine weight on the summer tires. Might help a bit if this were to ever happen again.

I have them. Drove 80 miles last night in reasonably heavy snow and they were fine. I didn't have to face any steep hills, but they did what was asked of them.

Im the same on flat surfaces im ok but at very low speed and on a slushy incline i dont go anywhere.

Its just a bad combo of rear wheel drive, slush and summer tires...

OP which F1's do you have, the directional ones or th asymmetric ones?

Have them on the front of my Volvo, goes nowhere in the snow, but they are a sports summer tyre, not an all-weather tyre or a winter tyre. Their performance in the wet and dry do make them a good tyre for Ireland, just not these few weeks.

Got caught on the first night of the snow with them on, had to drive up a very long and fairly steep hill, about 50 meters from the top i was barely moving while most of the other cars were having no problem. Thank god i dont rely on that car in this weather.

Directional ones on the rear and the asymmetric ones on the front!

I have them on all four wheels of my MKV GTI and to be honest I was disappointed with the grip over the last week. The wife's SEAT Ibiza (no ABS, no traction control) gave me more conifdence.

Have the asymmetrics all round on mine, didn't get stuck anywhere but did struggle to get up one snow covered hill alright.

i have them on my rwd car but on the front ..have cheap ones on the back for a while ...dont drive it much as its heavy on petrol more of a summer car..but last year in the snow i had the same problem ... i the main reason you could not move it was more to do with the width of them and the fact its rwd

mine are 245's and think its why i could not move.
