Afghan Patrol Mods install instructions

Afghan Patrol Co-10

For this You need lots of mods, add this repo to Yoma by clicking new server in favorites and importing it and use Yoma the same as before with Ace

Caa1 its in default servers in the latest versions of Yoma, just right click the Caa1- all worlds and add it to favourites and do the same

Along with these You need the FFAA terrorists, download it, copy it to Your Arma 2 folder and rename it to @FFAA and it will show up in the launcher

Defrag when You get all these, its a few GB's

When launching You need to run the following mods:
CBA, ACE, ACEX, ACEX_PLA, ACEX_SM, Caa1 Arma worlds, Oac core, Opx and FFAA in this order, order them up by using the mods tab of the launcher

You will get the mission from the server the first time You join

This isnt working for me get errors about not having mods loaded or i dont get maps to pick from

Nope i either get the map loaded then the mission tells me i dont have ACE or FFAA installed. Or i dont get the map

I just tried connecting and got told I didn't have ace.

I connected to the server,on the ACE domi map...tried to log in as admin and change it to the afghan mission, didnt work. Clicked continue to load up domi and it CTD.

I have this going by grouping all the caa1 mods into the one folder, (x\caa1\addons) and launching with this parameter

-mod=x\caa1;x\oac\oac_core;@CBA;@ACE;@ACEX;@FFAA;@OPX

I get a popup, something about FFAA, but it runs fine

It also launches fine from the launcher, just tick all the addons, order them up and save the profile

that command actually got all the maps up and the missions, so its closer than i was earlier

Works perfectly, I just ran the mods on the server and logged in, set the mission and drove around for 10 mins. Got one popup, but nothing serious

Everyone ready for this?
All on for starting this tomorrow at 7.30?
I'l also be locking the server, password will be simply "boardsie"

Go to Your game directory, open the @FFAA folder, is there a folder called addons there or is there a different folder? Methinks You have another FFAA folder in there with the addons inside that

It just crashes to desktop for me after I select the mission using both the launcher or shortcut. Any ideas?

I've already renamed the folder to @FFAA. It doesn't crash if FFAA is unselected.

Maybe we should pick a mission that just used ACE etc.

(and has indistructible helicopters)

Yes, I renamed mine, it was too long. My mod folder is just simply @FFAA, same in mod line. It doesn't matter what an @mod folder is called as long as it contains an addons folder with pbo's and you use the name of the folder to launch it.

This worked for me, useds pogs shortcut added to an actual arma shortcut on desktop and renamed FFAA to match his command line


Playing it now, pain in the ass but works.

Launcher works fine for me when joining the server. I'll be on in 20, I'll set it on the servere then and lock it, we'll have a go at it then

You'll not get the other maps/missions till the caa1 and opx missions are running on the server, its just running Ace atm

Just checked the CAA1 All world repository and there is 2gb of files left to d/l. Guess I wont be playing tonight....

The OPX mod is the Avgani Iraq & Afghan Village map, it also in the 2nd Kellys Heros Yoma repository which is all the mods they allow on the Kellys Heros servers, most of them are great and used alot. Yoma is a handy way of keeping them updated

You gotta add it to addon sync, click favorite servers, new servers and paste the url above and click import, it'll add links to loads of mods
