60cm would do but 80cm would be better particularly in heavy rain.

what price should I have paid for my dish
before christmas a dish broke down, it was one of those mesh dishes, it was ate with rust, I asked if there was a better dish that would not rust, he said there was and installed a solid dish for 210 euro, says it will not rust for a long time
then the same thing happened another dish I had for the teenagers, and this time round it cost 185 euro , I am just wondering has the price come down or was I conned, also if i were to have to replace a dish again is there a better price out there or is this about right

All that was done was a dish replaced? No other hardware?

That sounds very expensive. You can get complete FTA systems fitted for less than 200e. There would not be much difference between fitting a 60cm or an 80cm as both dishes are popular sizes and in and around the same price (Difference of 20e approx for the dish), Labour would be the same, its just the price of the dish which would be different.

Your in the same sort of position as Galway, where the salty sea air is always going to get at dishes outside. Mesh dishes rust a lot quicker than a good quality solid dish! The salt air loves the mesh!

The Raven (standard sky) dish is only about 20 euro.
