    Hi all

I've read the rules of this board, and as such I am not asking for advice, but I am wondering if anybody knows where I can get a dose of the Mumps vaccine for a 2 year old.

Myself and my wife decided not to go the route of the MMR, and sourced both Measles and Rubella vaccines from a company called DH2 in the UK. They have recently gone in to liquidation. Merck have recently announced that they are ceasing production of the MumpsVax, so we feel we need to move fast.

Any and all help on locating this would be appreciated.

    LaW

Talk to your doctor or your pharmacist.
You will need to get a prescription from a doctor and present it to a pharmacist anyway. 'Sourcing' vaccines yourself...well, let's just say it's distinctly dodgy.
Is this company in the UK planning on posting them to you? Sorry, but that would be illegal. Do you have a pharmaceutical importers license from the IMB? If not, then it's illegal for you to import a medicinal product (which a vaccine is).
Finally, why wouldn't you get the MMR? Do you think your child will get autsim from it? Why do you think that? Would it perhaps be because you're not getting your medical advice from a professional? The MMR vaccine does not cause autism. The doctor who conducted the 'research' that said it did has been struck off the Medical Register.
