Just wondering if there's any other Boardsies in Vancouver that would fancy a photo walk about? (when the rain stops of course :))

Vancouver, BC or Vancouver, WA? ;)

Unfortunately, not in either right now, but Vancouver BC is a brilliant city that I love to visit.

Good question :) - Vancouver BC. Yeah, it's ripe for photographing!!!

Only thing that's been holding me back from getting out more since I got here is the never ending rain. Hopefully it'll ease off in the next month in time for the Olympics

Maybe this time next year, if you're still about :)

I was there the year before last (most recent visit). I love Granville Island, or the sunsets taken from Kits Beach, Stanley park, the aquarium, or the quick visits up to Whistler, Vancouver Island, etc. Ah the memories.

Yep, I'd be up for this.
I really want to get some shots of the city with the sunset in the background.
I'm aware there's no sun at the mo :( but during the summer there are some epic sunsets.

Actually there were some pretty nice sun sets last week - the heavy cloud cover broke just a bit a few of the evenings and gave the sky a lovely textured glow. Tis the best there's been so far but typically I didn't have my camera with me!!

I just pm'd you there. If you interested in a meet up I think the rain is supposed to break next weekend for a while.

Some of mine from Vancouver, and White Rock (also a cool place nearby).

I wanna go back ... but it won't be this year. :(

Some lovely photos there Paul. The eagle is fairly amazing. Is there many of them about?

When I saw the first one, it was WOW, and snapped away hoping to get one single decent pict. Then, I realised that they're as common as crows, along the shore.

White Rock area had loads. Same along any coast area really, away from the city. Spring is when all the chicks hatch, so they're all over the place.
