    Hi all,

This may be nothing at all but i thought i'd just see if any other girls experienced this before.
I'm taking cilest for about a year and half now. Over christmas i had loads of things going on and it seemed that everytime my break in the pill was due i had something on that weekend so i kept going with another pack of pills so i wouldn't get my period. I've now ran 3 packs together and have decided i'd take a break after this. My break is due Tuesday, so my period usually comes Saturday or Sunday. However it started yesterday instead. Could this be because i've ran a couple of packs together? I've only ever done 2 together without taking a break

    Thanks for reading

Im obviously not female but the answers to your question(s) should only be directed at a doctor. You should also only take medication/tablets as directed on the package or by a doctor (if it's prescribed). Any advice given to you here in direct response to your questions should not be taken as granted.

Hey, I've done it a few times (3 back to back). First few times I did it I got an early bleed, but now I've done it more often, it comes when I expect it on a break.

BTW, I asked my pharmacist about running packs back to back. She said it's no problem at all. But it's wise to break incase of unknown pregnancy.

Also mentioned early period to an STI doctor she said it generally happens, not unusual.

Very dangerous to take Contraceptive pills like explained.
Must be taken ONLY as directed. Wont add what COULD happen as too gruesome.
No periods while on pill. Only break through bleeding.
You should seek gynaeocological / Family planning / GP advice.

My friend is a nurse in family planning clinic, it is 100% safe to take 3 packs in a row and early bleeding is common as a result!
