My insureance is up on 15th feb. so i decided to have a quick look online to see what the renewal price will be..and the renewal quote was €220 cheaper than last year!! im amazed. Im with Nononsense. and im only driving 2 years...last year i paid €660 third party. this year the full quote was €446. im tempted to just purchase the policy now and have it start a few days before the old policy expires...what would you do? I really cant see myself getting a better quote.
    what to do?

yeh shop around and see what the best deal is, not just in terms of price but in terms of coverage. check for breakdown assistance, windscreen cover, driving other cars etc etc....

I'm not sure that is even technically possible to do as you would not have your full 2009/ 2010 years until this policy expires and hence would not be credited with that years ncb until it expires if you know what I'm trying to say. I do stand to be corrected though. I'm not sure where you would stand if god forbid you had an accident during the period where the two insurance policies are running parallel....Instead of both covering you would it transpire that neither may want to cover you and pass the buck onto the other...Maybe a better insurance expert out there might clarify what would happen in such a screnario.
