I'm going blind looking at lcds and plasmas reviews and was considering
the LG 42PQ2000 PLASMA SCREEN or LG 42PQ6000 42-inch Widescreen HD Ready Plasma (is this the same?) and the lglh4000
    so help me out please
im looking for a 42inch tv under 700 euro (even 37inch)
cant decide between plasma and lcd either
i watch a lot of sport so it would be used a lot
    especially at the weekend.

I hear some people knocking plasmas because of the burn factor
yet others praise them no end
When i was in currys recently the salesguy there was saying plasma
were on the way out and advised me against it altogether whilst trying
to see me an lg lcd instead
Surely that cant be entirely right?
the reason im looking at lg is because the pq2000 handles divx from the usb
would divx look better coming from a dvd player or just from the
screen or would it be the same (prob a stupid question)
should this be a reason for me to go with lg?
I only have a sky plus box as yet
I dont have a blu ray player
most of my movie formats i watch are avi

    thanks

    @mailburner,

Reading this thread it appears that you're looking for general advice etc, so this might be better placed in the Home Entertainment forums and I'll move the thread.
