Should they bring back the bounty?

Up until a few years ago the dept of social welfare would pay you £50 if you ratted out someone who was defrauding welfare. For some reason they stopped doing this. So I ask would you like to see it return? Would you rat someone out for fifty big ones?

I was thinking about this and I'd like to see it come back... €50 is small but it might encourage people to report it, and the state could save a large amount... then again the investigation teams could be inundated with false leads and people put under suspicion for no good reason.

Not just bring back the bounty, but also bring in bounty hunters. I might be saying this because I watched episodes of Dog the Bounty Hunter, but I think it would be a nice profession to be in.
