I am looking for opinions/reviews on Rathfarnham. I am thinking of playing it when snow/frost disappears and maybe booking for a society outing later during the year.

Any feed back would be more than welcome

    Thanks:)

Its not a bad little course. Quite tight. holes you then play the 1st,
3rd and 4th I think.I have only played it a handful of times. Greens were good on both occassions. They have one peculiar thing where on on of their par 5's they have an aerial out of bounds.

+1 on that. Its a grand little course, that about sums it up. Some very good holes on it though, worth a visit. Its still only 14 or 15 holes as far as I know and then you play 3 or 4 holes again.
Didn't know about the ariel OB, thats a strange one alright. We were up there last year for Barton Cup and never knew about it, probably for the best that we didn't !! :).

They have a dogleg right on one par 5. To the righ were some unhappy neighbours with plenty of golf balls in their back garden and requested the club do something about it.

They club have put in a white pole on the edge of the wooded area and if you are right of it and still manage to find fairway you are deemed to have gone out of bounds aerially.

It was doe away with for Barton as we were up there to.
