Desperate - cable snapped from Satelitte Dish

Hi. I don't know if this is the right section. I have done something really stupid that I thought would be originally ok. A part of a fence fell down and i thought it would be a good idea to put it back up again until I put it in fully when the weather gets better. It turns out that it came down again and snapped the cable from the satelitte dish. I have tenants in and need to get this repaired asap. I am a sky subscriber but I got the satelitte dish up from a Polish friend who has now returned home. I am therefore desparate to get this repaired asap so they can watch whatever they want. I live in Swords, North Dublin. Does anybody know of any repair people who can come out and do the job quickly? Thanks

any half decent hardware store should be able to save You the cost of an engineer call out, assuming both ends of the cable are within your reach all you need to get is the male+female connectors for the high quality cable that comes with Sky,You will also need self amalgamating tape to waterproof the connections and block any stray signals that might disrupt the LNB input,Very important make sure each layer of cable does not touch against the other, not even a strand!:)

Talk to a hardware store owner that has a bit of savvy,You would be crazy to pay for a 'repair'
