Review request: G&G GR15 Raider Shorty with Blowback

Hi lads, im planning to get one of the above and was wondering if it is reliable to anyone who owns one thanks.

There's a review already on here somewhere by hairyman and/or masada. It was a positive review and my own brother bought one of these only a couple of weeks ago but hasn't yet skirmished with it

have one. it rocks. dead solid gun. very balanced. anyone who i have showed it to has liked it and thought it was very nice and seemed impressed. couldnt knock it for any reason to be honest.

Ok so, didnt really like this gun, for the following....

Crap internal barrell, Plastic recivers, the foregrip while is metal its fairly lite and the paint work wasnt great, rubbish plastic flash hider and the top half of the outter barrell is moulded and comes off in one peice, it only comes with SF logo's, the T-Handle has a hook on the end that attaches to a spring witch makes the ejection port open and the dummy bolt move, but mine broke with days and 3 mags... lol- i had a bit of a job getting a replacement.. I did like the hand grip and thats why its on an M4 I will use, - just felt for 200 blips + G&G could have done better... Oh and ya have to buy a batt and charger seperate to the gun, so buy a Dboys M4 and do some upgrades with the money ya saved on the other thing

the Stock is nice on it though, which is also on an M4 i will use....ha ha

I like how the forward assist button releases the spring tension for storage!

i have one myself and have skirmished with it. i think its a brilliant gun and out of the loads i held and tested this one came out trumps. i like the fell and the fact it has a short barrel and crane stock, some say the blow back saps the battery but it hasnt happened to mine.
the foward assist to release the tension in the spring is cool and puts my mind at ease when it goes back into its box. take care of it as with any aeg and it will serve you well

bought the gun last week used it a couple of times very nice blow back is class and doesnt waste the battery, very solid, the only downside is that you have to buy the batt and charger seperate but all in all best 200 yoyos i ever spent

I know this is an old thread but thought id add some more! Love this gun since i bought it! Blowback is nice and crisp! Agree with airsofty that the plastic flashhider is pants(which i broke just to put a metal one on). The inner barrel sux also which i also replaced but after that its awesome especially for CQB. And for 200 its ok considering no mag or battery!

a few more weeks and skirmishes on and mine is still going strong, looking for a tighter barrel now and maybe a flash hider/silencer maybe.
no mechanical issues yet and blowback still works well.

i think these have tightbore as standard well i have the long barrelled 1 and it has a 6.04 barrell in it

Have one and it is accurate and an 8.4V battery gives better control over short bursts. Getting three per pull and I would find it very hard to pick up another rifle.
