hi everyone, happy new year

i met a girl when i was out a couple of weeks ago and we clicked, left the pub and were walking back to her place, we were getting on like a house on fire until we passed the place where i worked and mentioned that i worked there.

she wasnt impressed at all, and by that i mean she didnt approve of the buisness i was in, she was totally against it, and that put an end to the night, she took my number and gave me hers and left, said she would text in a few days but didnt

i want your opinions as to whether or not i should contact her

the reason why im still thinking about her is that i really liked this one and we really hit it off and i knew she liked me but didnt like the job, she evenmade sure that i got her number,

if i was any other girl that swaped numbers and didnt call me i wouldnt really care, id say good luck and move on but as i said i really liked this one

I would text if I liked her but tbh it seems a bit odd to me that she didnt like your work. That said a vegan wont approve of working in an abbatoir or McDonalds so you may not really have a chance.

Rookie mistake. Most women will not initiate communication with you even if they said that they will. Time to man up and call her.

If I was the girl and you had my number, I would be expecting you to make the call!! I dont chase men. Very good reason, if women chase men its seen as desperate bunny boiler type. Therefore usually the women let the men make the moves until things are more established.

Im also a strict vegeterian and I dated a guy who ran an abbatoir! So the unlikely can happen. Sometimes you have to look beyond a persons job and see them for their true person.

There's a massive difference between indicating / showing an interest and chasing someone like a bunny-boiler!

OP - if she doesn't text - like she promised, and specifically asked for your number in order to do then - to coin a phrase from the same self-enlightenment book - "she's not that into you".

He has her number!! Maybe she read the book "He's just not that into you" and thought since he hasnt texted, that he's just not into her
