laptop wont start

    hi. My laptop wont start. It just gets to the microsoft bit at the start then the screen goes black! I have run start up repair and it didnt work! I dont have the windows disk. I have turned it off 3 times in the past 4 hours by holding down the power button. There is nothing connected to the laptop except the power cable. Apolagise for grammar. Im writing this on my phone

    ok,
    its working again now,
    jasus!! it took me over 4 hours to get it started:o

    does any1 have any idea what could have caused it? i afraid to shut it down again!!
