I was thinking of buying this but am a bit hesitant since the game has been out so long.Is there still a big enough online community or is that dead at this stage..Does any one else think 25 is a bit steep for a game thats over a year or 2 old and can anyone tell me if the fury add on is worth the extra $$..

Im open to recommendations for other psn games as well

The price is probably a little steep considering it's age, but it's an amazing game. I haven't played it in months though, so I can't comment on the online presence.

I havent played it online in ages but I remember that there wasnt too many people online even back then. But Id recommend it for the single player alone, great game.

There is still an online community....though it feels a bit like Warhawk where the online community is pretty hardcore.

The game is awesome, one of my favourite games. The fury add on is absolutely worth it.....just for the eliminator game mode alone.

I know what you mean about the price, however it is as good as a €60 game imo.

This is a great game - the fury add on is ok and only necessary if you've really had your fill of the original tracks imo. The online community is probably still the same as it ever was (although in my experience psn is not the same as xbox live as many people dont have headsets so you may as well be playing against the computer).

It's worth the money though. One of the best games on ps3.

if you insist man.. must say i require more from games than occasionally moving left and right - could picture some E'd up mong chewin his cud at a Playstation booth over this at say Creamfields but i found it a fairly grey experience

Did you turn off the assist option? Leaving it on is kinda like cycling with stabilisers....and the game would pretty much require minimal effort.
