    just wondering how hard it would be to change the timing belt??
    its a mazda 6 diesel 07,
    id be fairly handy can do the service an such.
    just wondering if any novices have tried it with success or failure??:D

    You would need to know what you are doing. Big enough job and I guess some locking tools etc required. Best leave to garage if you are not sure.

    You would need the proper tools and know how.

    One slip up could cost you a new / reconditioned cylinder head plus labour. :eek:

    Even if you do know what your doing it's still a pain in the hole. It's one best passed on. Use the money saved on doing the regular servicing and treat yourself this time.
