Exactly which flavour of ESPN is on NTL?

I've gone to the ESPN International (http://intltv.espn.com/) website but can't find a listing for the ESPN channel which is shown on NTL in Dublin. Does anyone have any idea where you can get such a listing or what international version of ESPN is carried on NTL?

Well sky have 2 ESPN feeds and I have both which are identical. But thats card sharing and it all free so dont ask me which one is the Irish feed

Thanks, I have the TV Guide all set up (on the laptop and iTouch) and customized for my channels, what I'm looking for is a listing on an ESPN website since their main international website offers listings for the whole month.

It's ESPN UK.

Website is www.espn.co.uk, though for some reason that isn't opening for me at the moment.

Same here, Firefox says Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

It's trying to redirect to espn.ie here. Is it an Irish feed as some show rights aren't available for Ireland on the UK channel?

For some reason:

1. www.espn.co.uk redirects to tv.espn.co.uk
2. tv.espn.co.uk redirects to www.espn.ie (presumably detecting an Irish IP)
3. www.espn.ie then redirects back to tv.espn.co.uk,
4. this then leads steps 2 & 3 to cycle confusing the hell out of the browser which then just gives up...

As for ESPN in Ireland, it is just ESPN UK. There's no Irish advertising (yet). There may be some programmes blocked, the chief culprit I believe is the UEFA Europa League which Setanta and TV3 share rights to in ROI and I believe this has been blocked here, at least on Sky.

Ok well that won't put any NTL subscribers out since we have both Setanta and TV3, I guess they'd both want ESPN blocked though to preserve their audiences for advertising purposes.

then why do we get the Champions League Coverage from Sky and ITV or the Six Nations Rugby on BBC. They'll have to start blocking everything now.

I have UPC Digital plus. I have tried to select the ESPN channel but I get a message saying access denied, please subscribe etc. What channel number should I be selecting?

They seem to be gradually enabling access.
I tried ESPN America a few days ago and got that message, tried again Sunday and it was fine.

try 407 - you should be getting ESPN as standard if you are on the Max pack
