Sky +/Is the HDD still spinning

    I went into Sky+ setup and turned off instant rewind as the box seemed noisy, but it sounds like the HDD is still spinning

    The box is probably downloading on anytime.

    It can get quite noisy when the tv is off.

    Yep, if it's a standard definition box, press the services button, then go to AnytimeTV or press 6, then turn it off from there.

    That should stop them downloading. It won't give you any of the space back though.

    Turned off anytime but still seems to be spinning, anything else?
