Any ideas on this? I know the problems out there at the moment, but it seems the show goes on, I've picked Ivory Coast's Gervinho as an each way bet, going very well with Lille at the moment, and Ivory Coast are determined to make a strike partner out of him for Drogba. Paddy Power offering 14/1, worth shopping around, got him at 25s with Boylesports. He will have one game less now that Togo have withdrawn from the group but it makes their passage a bit easier.

What odds is Kanoute for mali? He could do well if mali get a decent run in it

Not yet confirmed whether Togo have withdrawn. Few players have said the team has, but other reports say they are still in. Also reports saying the players are speaking to other countries(players from the countries) in the group to boycott also.

If I were anyone thinking about betting on this I would check with the bookie if bets will stand if any country does withdraw.

Samuel Etoo must be a good bet at 4/1? Cameroon could go all the way and looks like an easy group to bag a few goals in!

I'll put Emad Moteab out there at 16/1, I think Egypt could have a good run, hoping to make up for missing out on the world cup and given their good record in the competition.
