ye it asks me where i want to install, there is 4 different options here. I move down to the c drive and try to install then get the error. Should i delete the c partition and then try it??

just delete the partitions that are there then format over them it's just picking up the previous install

i find partitions handy on bigger drive 100-120gb for C:
300+ for storage etc put all your files in storage drive and create shorcuts to folders pop em in you windows ie: music>shorcut to music and always there in event of a crash just have to make shorcuts again after rebuild.

start>right click computer>properties>hardware>device manager whichever has yellow exclamation mark you can install the driver by right clicking on it just point towards disc and not use internet to find this can be handy if you want just the basic driver without extra software. you might have to open specific folder.
