Which Hard drive to use?

I am redoing my media centre PC a bit (mostly because I am running out of space!) and have two spare HDDs one of which I plan on using for an operating system/C: drive. Everything else will stay on a separate drive.

My question is which is the faster and better drive for the job? One is an IDE 160Gb Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 and the other is a SATA 7200.7 120Gb drive. My guess is the SATA drive because of the faster connection but the other is a later model. Space wise both are plenty big enough for a Windows 7 install and other software, so it comes down to speed, noise and reliability.

    Anyone know the answer?

Yeh, both drives would easily fit in but I just want the one there for an OS. Thanks for the info.
